We were shaken. The conclusion was obvious, and yet we attempted to convince ourselves that we were seeing things, jumping to conclusions. We tried to forget, until days later, when we received an anonymous phone call telling us that we were getting closer, and telling us of an online auction that would provide us our smoking gun. The auction was for some artwork said to be the original of one of the promo posters for Episode One. After paying a fairly large sum for the piece, the artwork, which we have scanned and posted below, was delivered to us. As you can see, in the lower left-hand corner, just to the left of R2-D2, is a familiar figure airbrushed out of the final version of the poster. Ladies and gentlemen, fear has a name. And a cute little hood and spear.
